Rubia Cordifolia

Rubia Cordifolia is Latin for my Chinese name, 茜. It is pronounced xī, or qiàn.

Rubia Cordifolia is considered to be one of the most valuable herbs in Ayurvedic medicine and has been largely used by physicians since ancient time.

The plant grows throughout India, in hilly districts, up to 3500 meters height. It is a perennial, herbaceous climber.
