Singapore

Singapore, with capital city Singapore City, is an island at the southern tip of Malay Peninsula.

I’ve visited Singapore several times for its proximity to Indonesia and Malaysia. Check out Singapore’s tourism site to find out more about its the famous attractions.

My most recent trip to Singapore was in November 2008. It was a short weekend trip and we mostly moved around Clarke Quay, River Quay, Raffles City and Vivo City. Other places of great interest are Sentosa Island, Chinatown, Singapore Zoo, etc. One thing not to miss, especially if you’re a seafood lover like me, is Singapore Chilli Crab. It costs approximately SG$45 a kilogram – I usually like to get a 1.5-to-2-kg – and it’s absolutely fabulous.
